Parts Department Manager

Bortz Chevrolet in Waynesburg, PA, has an immediate opening for a qualified Parts Department Manager. Experience working in automotive parts is necessary: experience working in a Chevrolet or General Motors parts department is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and parts management, ensuring that our inventory is well-stocked and efficiently managed. This role requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technicians, suppliers, and customers to meet their needs effectively.
Qualifications And Skills:
- Experience as an automotive parts manager—preferably Chevrolet or GM.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and logistics.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Business Management degree or related field preferred.
Responsibilities And Duties:
- Maintain inventory control and ensure availability of parts.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers.
- Coordinate with service and repair departments to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize surplus.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting with parts identification and selection.
- Collect and code all invoices and statements and submit to accounting department for recording and payment.
- Potentially train and mentor Parts Department staff.

Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic
Description:
We are currently seeking an Automotive Service Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct oil changes
- Rotate tires
- Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections
- Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles
- Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
- Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
- Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments
- Keeping work station clean, neat, and safe
- *Additional mechanical work assigned based on experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Driver's license
- State Inspection license
- Basic automotive maintenance knowledge & experience
- Punctual and dedicated
- A General Motors certified technician is preferred but not required.
- ASE certification is a plus but not required.
Earning and Perks:

Description:
Bortz Chevrolet in Waynesburg, PA, has an opening for a qualified new/pre-owned sales consultant. Auto experience preferred but candidates with a sales background are encouraged to apply. Sales consultants care for and about our customers. They work to meet customer needs by helping them get into their desired vehicle, introducing them to our Service Team and Finance Manager, and guiding them through the auto buying process. They are the customer's main point of contact through the vehicle search, buy, and delivery processes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Greeting and Consulting with customers about vehicles of interest.
- Listen to customer's needs and wants and provide information on vehicles that may fit those requirements.
- Follow up with leads
- Stay in communication with customers throughout the buying process.
- Guide customers through vehicle setup and functions at delivery.
- Keep current with all online training requirements.
- Gather requested documentation or information from customers or leads and retain a sales/lead log.
- Contact customers via phone, email, and writing for various reasons including to sell.
- Use Social Media outlets to promote vehicles or yourself to gain new prospects.
